| 01. Instant Listings
| | Get Instant top search engine listings. In less than 72 hours you can be listed with the top 10 placement in 50 or more search engines. How? As a part of their service, ITE registers your web site at no extra charge to you with over 50 Pay Per click search engines. These search engines will give you up to $50.00 each in top search listings FREE just to try their service. ITE guarantees at least $400.00 in free listings. Plus your site is submitted to top crawling search engines. |
| 1. Submitter.net
| | Professional search engine submission to 2000 search engines, classifieds and FFA's. Submitted one-time for fee of $29.95. Submitted monthly for one year - $59.95. Bulk deals on multiple domain submissions also available. |
| 2. iNeedHits
| | I need hits now offers free submission to 40 search engines free. I've only used their paid submission program and it basically rocks. Even though Yahoo no longer accepts submissions from individuals, they still do from paid submission services. That doesn't mean the site necessarily gets into Yahoo, but at least it does get submitted. With the paid program you hit 300 search engines and FFA pages for a meager $10 (which is $15 less than elsewhere), and usually it's on sale for about $2.50. It's convenient, especially because they set you up with an e-mail account to receive all that mail you get when you do a large submission. But if you don't want to fork out any cash you can still hit 30 for free, but they've made it a huge hassle, so if you want to submit free, take it from me, go somewhere else. Their paid submission hits nearly 400 search engines, and it's the most that can be hit for a meager $2.50. |
| 3. Submit Plus
| Submit Plus offers another 110 search engines and directories, many of which are not found at any of the places listed above. The problem is you have to submit to most of them one-by-one. They also have a rocking deal to submit your site regularly for 6 months for only $39, which is hands-down the best deal around.

| 4. Search Engine Watch
| Search Engine Watch: Tips About Internet Search Engines & Search Engine Submission. Search Engine Watch is the authoritative guide to searching at Internet search engines and search engine registration and ranking issues. Learn to submit URLs, use HTML meta tags and boost placement. |
| Addme
| Using AddMe you can conveniently submit free to 20 or so top engines. You simply enter all your info (site title, description, keywords, etc) then you progress forward automatically submitting to each seach engine separately, which is nice because it allows you to choose which ones you want to submit to; however, it is a tad time consuming. Addme is still one of the best free search engine submission services available. I just wish they had more search engines!
|
| Global
| | Conveniently hit about 55 engines world wide, including the top 10; however, by my last count 27 came up as errors, either page not found, server not found, or method not allowed. So, you actually hit about 28 search engines. Still pretty convenient though. |
| OneWeb Submit
| | FREE automated submission to potentially 250 search engines in real time. Submission isn't as automated as suggested here. On some engines manually hitting a submit button is required. Apparently 175 of these are submitted through inktomi. Instant submission confirmation. |
| ScrubtheWeb
| You used to hit numerous major engines here, but these days you can only hit about 12 or so for free. To hit more than that they want you to become a member and it's fairly costly. What you do for free submissions is go to their meta tag analyzer, input your URL, and they pull up all the info directly from your site, ready to auto submit. You hit 12 or so top engines, and you get to select which ones you want to submit to. Hopefully they at least keep the meta-tag analyzer free because it's extremely useful and can help you build your tags.
|
| SelfPromotion.com
| After you're done with all the auto-submit places, there are still hundreds of indexes and engines you haven't hit. Self Promotion.com is there to fill in that gap. It's free for a month. However, if you'd like to keep your account open for a solid year they ask for a $10 donation, which ain't bad when you consider the power of this amazing resource. It's all manual, but this site provides a direct link to the add URL pages of an inestimable number of indexes and engines. This is a resource no one can do without.
|
| SubmitExpress
| This is an all automated deal. All you do is input your URL and your e-mail address and wham-bang--you've just submitted to 40 top engines, but alas, only 12 of them are crawlers; all the rest are metasearch engines, which aren't the best place to submit. Another drawback is that you don't get to select which engines you want to submit to, it's all a done deal in the blink of an eye. They also offer a deal to pay to have your site submitted to a massive list of engines.
|
| uSubmit
| | You can use Usubmit to add your URL free to 25 top search engines in a snap. You are required to register first and you receive your password and username via the email address you provide. I used to use this service quite a bit and I used to be quite pleased, but times have changed. Eventually my password failed and I couldn't get back in; they wouldn't let me get another account because I already had one. A major drawback is that you can't select which engines to submit to. |
